Texas Youth Hunting

  • The past two weekends at the YMCA Robert's Ranch in Comfort have been awesome! We had kids from Cambridge Elementary along with their parents out on a Family Camping Trip! This amazing outdoor program is carefully planned and each station is run by skilled Volunteers. Out of the 15 Volunteers, 11 Volunteers were through the Texas Youth Hunting Program. Huntmasters came from all over to assist the families in making awesome memories of a lifetime! Saturdays started with a rotation through Fishing, .22 Target Shooting, Outdoor Crafts, Cooling off in the creek, and then lunch. In the afternoon the families rotated through Archery, Sling Shot, Horses, and a Nature Hike, The evening was topped off with a campfire along with Smores. What an amazing program to introduce families to the awesome outdoors! Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer for such an event feel free to call me. 830-491-9669,
