Youth Hunt Camping

What to Bring

  • All required TYHP forms, completed**
  • Current Hunting License**
  • Proof of Hunter Education**
  • Blaze orange cap (adult only, TYHP will provide one for youth)
  • Blaze orange vest (adult and youth)
  • Boots/Sturdy shoes
  • Appropriate hunting clothing
  • Knife
  • Personal medication (notify Huntmaster)
  • Rain gear (just in case)
  • Binoculars
  • Camera
  • Note pad and pen
  • Flashlight
  • Camping gear (tent, pop-up camper, RV, Suburban, etc.)
  • Personal items (toiletries, etc.)
  • Lawn chair or camp stool
  • Ice chest(s) for game
  • Firearm or bow
  • Rifle cleaning kit
  • Ammunition (factory loads ONLY, or appropriate arrows)
  • Sleeping bag or bedroll, towels and toilet articles - Do Not Use Landowner Bedding or Linens


MEALS WILL BE PROVIDED


What NOT to bring

  • Alcohol or illegal drugs
  • Tobacco products (if you must, our policy is that you DO NOT use them in front of the youth, and you MUST dispose of the waste properly)

**Failure to bring any of these documents may result in the Huntmaster
dismissing you from the youth hunt.
